Specialist Grade

Job Overview

Do you want to join our team as Specialist Grade? This is a ten session permanent post. It includes contribution to the resident on call rota for both obstetrics and gynaecology. The post will be based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

The ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff is essential. A minimum experience of 6 years at SAS grade or equivalent in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the UK is essential.

North Wales boasts some of the UKs most varied and spectacular coastline, offering unique opportunities to engage with outdoor activities in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The population density is located along the northern coastal border with the main A55 road offering excellent links to the North West of England, and Ireland via seaport. This, in conjunction with the availability of attractive housing and schooling options should be appreciated when considering a post in this area. Wrexham Maelor Hospital is a commutable distance from Chester, Liverpool and Manchester and parking is free within our hospital sites.

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice at date of commencement

• MRCOG or appropriate specialist qualification
• Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry by date of appointment
