Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a primary school setting?

Academics Ltd is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic ALN Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in and around Cwmbran. We are a well-established education recruitment agency working with a wide network of schools across South Wales.

About the Role:

• Provide tailored support to pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis, including those with ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised learning plans.
• Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Support pupils' academic and social development while promoting independence and engagement.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children, preferably within school or ALN environments.
• A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Academics).
