The Mathematics department at Trinity School are a passionate and collaborative team, keen to enhance the learning and outcomes of students. We are looking to improve an already strong team. We have a strong curriculum vision for Mathematics and are looking for a talented and committed professional to help implement this in the classroom.
In key stage 3 there are 6 classes in each year group and 7 classes in key stage 4, who each receive 7 maths lessons per fortnight. The GCSE exam board is Edexcel.
At KS5 our exam board is also Edexcel. We currently have two A-Level Maths classes in Year 12 and an additional Further Maths class in each year.
About YouWe are looking for candidates who have the potential to be an outstanding teacher. You will need a good honours degree. You will have a passion for maths, be eager to inspire the next generation, have a desire to work in a secondary school and share your knowledge with others. You will be required to work with groups of students, to support and equip them in exam preparation.
Some planning and marking will be required.
Support from us includes; appropriate CPD, an assigned mentor and a training programme to support you with working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
