The Primary school are looking for qualified or highly experienced Teaching Assistant to hit the ground running working 1:2 with two boys who have additional learning needs and down syndrome in the Year 3 class. The successful candidate will need to be flexible to work between 08:30am 15:30pm and be able to work collaboratively with other staff members around the school.

You will be expected to create a home from home environment for these two pupils ensuring they receive a stimulating and enriching learning theories.

• Working 1:2 with two boys in Year 3 with additional learning needs and Down syndrome
• Be flexible to work between 08:30am and 15:30pm and collaborate with school staff
• Create a welcoming, supportive learning environment to support pupil progress

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least 6 months experience within a classroom setting
• Ability to engage children and create a fun learning environment
• Caring, positive approach to working with young children
• Good knowledge of Child Protection / Safeguarding procedures
