Welsh‑Speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location:

Monmouthshire

Contract Type:
Part‑Time (2 Days a Week) – Starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one‑to‑one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans.
  • Promote inclusive learning and support the emotional and social development of children.
  • Use the Welsh language within the school community.
  • Work closely with the teaching staff to ensure each child's learning needs are met.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Fluent in Welsh, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working with children, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Compassionate, patient, and positive attitude toward supporting young learners.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable
  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) is a plus.
