Psychology Graduate

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Help students overcome emotional, behavioural and learning barriers. Apply psychological theory and behaviour strategies in the classroom. Create a safe, engaging and positive learning environment. Work alongside Teachers, Therapists and SEN professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing a career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Speech and Language Therapy, Mental Health Services or Teaching.

You will gain relevant safeguarding training, and help support the schools fully-integrated therapy programme. The school are looking for a motivated graduate who is friendly, proactive and enthusiastic. Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. You will need to have resilience and a positive can-do attitude.
