Specialist Teacher (ALN) - Early Years Assessment and Observation
Salary: £6,746.00 – £10,388.00 per year

Job PurposeDeliver a high‑quality specialist service for schools and specialist centres that supports pupils with Additional Learning Needs in the Early Years. Lead the consistent use of evidence‑based procedures and processes so that early identification, assessment and intervention are effective. Implement agreed strategies within specialist centres, observe, model and monitor classroom practice, work closely with a small team of specialist assistants, and equip schools through training and ready‑made resources.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist support and observations in early years settings.
- Deliver evidence‑based assessment and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with specialist assistants and school staff.
- Develop and deliver training and resources to schools.
- Appointment subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS and EWC registration.
- Teacher's pay scale plus ALN1 allowance worth £2,838 (pro rata).
- 0.2 contract.
Includes pay scale plus ALN1 allowance of £2,838 (pro rata) and other benefits offered by Isle of Anglesey County Council.
