Maths Teacher

Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Wrexham? We are currently working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school seeking an enthusiastic Maths specialist to join their team on a supply basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated pupils, deliver engaging lessons, and make a real impact within a well-respected school environment.

If you are a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or experienced maths teacher we offer roles which include delivering the curriculum in Key Stage 3 (KS3) to Key Stage 4 (KS4) with a possible work at Key Stage 5 (KS5).

As a maths teacher you’ll be expected to:

• Hold QTS status
• Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
• Maintain discipline
• Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
• Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
• Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
• Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
