Teacher - Barker's Lane

The Governing Body at Barker’s Lane wish to appoint an outstanding primary classroom teacher. The post is full-time for a fixed term 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027. No term‑time leave.

The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team of staff and:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current pedagogy, ALN reform and curriculum developments in Wales.
• Show a strong commitment to developing both pupils’ and personal Welsh language skills.
• Deliver a rich, authentic, and learner‑led curriculum that develops literacy, numeracy, and digital competence.
• Create an effective learning environment that encourages creativity, problem‑solving, and independence.
• Contribute to a supportive and inclusive culture that promotes equality, respect, and positive well‑being.
• Share skills and expertise to enhance and develop a wide range of extra‑curricular opportunities.

Skills / keen interest in the development of music is desirable but not essential.
