Key Responsibilities
  • Promoting Coleg Cambria's Welsh medium / bilingual provision and activities with learners
  • Strengthening learner engagement and learner voice amongst Welsh speaking learners
  • Coordinating and developing the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol Branch
Essential Requirements
  • Enthusiasm to promote the use of the Welsh language
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
  • Ability to communicate professionally and accurately in Welsh and English, both orally and in writing
  • Competence in communicating effectively in a range of situations within the Further Education sector in Wales
  • Competency in IT
  • Able to work flexibly and perform well under pressure
  • Self‑motivated, able to act on own initiative and manage own time effectively
  • Willingness to receive relevant training as required
Language and Cultural Requirements

Welsh skills are essential for this specific post. Candidates must promote and embed Welsh language and culture, and may receive tailored Welsh language training plans and incentive payments for bilingual delivery and services.
