Role OverviewWe are looking for a Commissioning Engineer who will oversee the commissioning process of substation projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Key ResponsibilitiesCommissioning Management
:
Lead and manage the commissioning activities for substation projects, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and operational according to project specifications and regulatory standards.Technical Expertise
:
Provide technical guidance and support during the commissioning process, troubleshooting any issues that arise and ensuring optimal performance of all systems.Documentation and Reporting
:
Maintain comprehensive records of commissioning activities, including test results, system configurations, and any modifications made during the process.Safety Compliance
:
Ensure all commissioning activities comply with health and safety regulations, implementing best practices to minimize risks.Stakeholder Communication
:
Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and address any concerns promptly.
Experience
:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in substation commissioning.Technical Skills
:
Strong knowledge of substation systems, including protection, control, and SCADA systems.Problem-Solving
:
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.Location
:
Based in Wales, with the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
Day Rate
:
Competitive day rate of £450, reflecting your experience and expertise.Contract Duration
: 12 months, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.Professional Development
