Qualifications Engineer

• Management of short to medium term technical projects (typically 6-18 months) involving composite and adhesive materials for the aerospace industry
• Responsible for coordination of testing, analysis of data and compilation of technical reports
• Providing technical expertise and support both internally and to major aerospace customers
• Demonstrating high proficiency communication skills within the team, to stakeholders, and end customers

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the composites or specialty polymers industry is a strong advantage
• Working knowledge of base resins and reinforcement fibers
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. AS9100); exposure to SPC/statistical methods and Six Sigma is a plus
• Experience with raw material processing, batch processing, and/or web handling is a plus

• UK annual base salary range reasonably expected: 45.200 GBP to 56.500 GBP. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range
• 16 or more weeks of maternity/paternity and co‑parenting leave, according to local regulations
