HV Commissioning Engineer

Astute's Contract team is partnering with a HV Testing & Commissioning Company to recruit for a HV Commissioning Engineer for a 3-4-week initial contract in Wrexham. Once successfully completing this short-term contract, the candidate will be able to move onto other projects taking the contract duration to an additional 3-6 months.

• day rate of £500-£550 per day, Outside IR35.
• flexibility for this rate to increase if you have your own cable & testing tools.
• Accommodation is available too.
• Bonus if you have your own tools!

ASAP start date: 19th August 2026.

• Protection & CT Commissioning
• Secondary Injection
  - Siprotec Feeder Relays
• Busbar Protection
  - Siemens 7SR2302
• I/O and Function Testing (all panels)
• Line Differential Scheme Functional Testing
• G99 Compliance Testing
