Site Engineer

Our client is seeking a Site Engineer for a contract opportunity within the transmission and distribution sector. The role requires a Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to support the safe and efficient delivery of site-based engineering activities and temporary works.

• Coordinating temporary works activities in accordance with approved designs and project requirements
• Reviewing temporary works proposals, drawings, calculations and risk assessments
• Monitoring on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications
• Providing technical support to site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate records, inspection documentation and temporary works registers
• Supporting the delivery of transmission and distribution projects while promoting high standards of health, safety and quality
• Identifying and resolving engineering issues promptly to support programme delivery

• Experience working as a Site Engineer within the transmission, distribution or civil engineering sector
• Strong knowledge of temporary works coordination and associated control procedures
• Understanding of temporary works design, inspections, permits and risk assessments
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience
