Customer Service Rep
Please note: this is a 6 or 18 month fixed-term contract
This role is based on an annualised hours contract. The postholder will work a total number of hours over the course of the year, rather than a fixed weekly schedule. Working patterns will vary depending on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods. Shifts will be planned in advance and communicated with reasonable notice. Flexibility is essential to meet operational requirements.

The RoleTo provide coordination support for Rail Replacement Services (RRS) based at operating locations, minimising disruption to passengers as they transition from transport modes. Monitoring all operational elements to ensure they run smoothly and maintaining communication with RRS control staff to ensure they are informed of all pertinent information.
To provide excellent customer service during RRS operations. Ensuring effective and proactive communication with passengers to support them in completing the journey.
Role responsibilities- Represent Transport for Wales (TfW) in apositive,professional, andapproachablemanner at all times.
- Provide excellent customer serviceby assisting passengers and delivering accurate, up-to-date travel information by clear announcements regarding service updates, departure times, and calling patterns when required. To develop agood working knowledge of the TfW network and local geography to assist passengers effectively.
- Supervise and coordinatethesafe and timely movement of rail replacement buses and coaches at designated locations by communicating real-time updates, delays, or changes to control, station teams, and other relevant parties quickly and clearly.
- Champion safetyby ensuring all actions and decisions align with
TfW's safety protocols and standards.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Great attention to detail to ensure accurate service
- A systematic approach to working
While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
