Pay Rate: £ 14.36 per hour

• Provide financial support within the service group, including final accounts preparation and annual estimates.
• Assist with monthly budgetary control and outturn forecasting, particularly for staffing costs.
• Maintain and develop financial systems, enhancing training and financial awareness across the service group.
• Prepare relevant data for grant claims, statistical returns, and statutory submissions.
• Monitor expenditure for capital projects and minor works programmes.
• Complete routine financial tasks and provide information to support financial monitoring of service units.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Finance Business Partner.

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics.
• Studying for, or attainment of, foundation level AAT, introductory level CAT, or NVQ/SVQ Level 2 Accounting.
• Understanding of accounting principles within the Public Sector.
• Practical experience in final accounts preparation and or budgetary control.
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non‑finance managers.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets and/or databases.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work with minimal supervision.

• Previous experience working with public sector budget holders and finance officers.
• Familiarity with CIA systems or equivalent financial software.
