Share Plans & Tax Manager

About the role

As a key member of the Global Employer Services group, you will provide tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients. Your primary duties will include managing a portfolio of existing clients, assisting Directors & Partners, developing targets to drive business growth, and supporting senior staff in client work and group management.

• Ability to advise on the tax treatment of share options and other forms of employee share ownership
• In‑depth knowledge of EMI, ESS and related reward tax areas such as employment, NIC and capital gains tax
• Expertise on split interest, freezer and nil‑paid arrangements
• Experience preparing share valuations and liaising with HMRC
• Staff management and mentoring experience
• Awareness of accounting, employment law and company law implications of share incentives
• Experience dealing directly with clients, including agreement of fees
• Degree level education (LLB preferred) and/or CTA, ATT/ACA or equivalent qualification
