The Opportunity As Finance Director, you'll play a key role in the financial and commercial performance of the business. Reporting directly into the CEO and senior Directors, you'll provide financial leadership, commercial insight and constructive challenge across the organisation. This is not simply a financial control role. The business is looking for a commercially minded Finance Director who wants to be close to the operation, influence decision-making and make a tangible difference.

You'll have responsibility across:
Financial leadership, reporting and control Budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis Cash management and forecasting Financial governance, systems and compliance Commercial decision-making and business performance Continuous improvement across finance processes Senior stakeholder management Finance team leadership and development Supporting future business growth and investment You'll lead an established finance function and have the opportunity to develop the team while working closely with senior leadership across the organisation.

About You We're looking for a qualified accountant with significant senior-level commercial experience. You'll ideally bring: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification 10 years' post-qualification experience in a commercial environment Finance Director, Head of Finance or divisional finance leadership experience Strong commercial and analytical capability Experience across financial control, forecasting, reporting and cash management A proven track record of leading teams and developing people Experience delivering change and continuous improvement The confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders Strong communication and relationship-building skills A pragmatic, resilient and solutions-focused approach Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys being close to the business and using finance to drive better commercial decisions.
