An opportunity exists for a senior position within the Council’s Environmental Crime & Behavioural Change Team.

We are seeking an individual with exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills, who is committed to reducing the impact of environmental crime through the effective 3 “E” strategy; engagement, education and enforcement. No two days will ever be the same with some investigations leading to cross county and cross organisation collaborative work.

Responsibilities:

  • Enforcement work including the issuing of legal notices and fixed penalties.
  • Conducting PACE interviews and carrying out investigatory procedures.
  • Preparation of case files for court and related proceedings.

Appointment subject to Disclosure & Barring Service Check and satisfactory references.
