Pharmacy Technician
We are seeking a self‑motivated, patient/service focused individual to join our existing team of Pharmacy Assistants working within the dispensary.
Responsibilities- Facilitating the smooth flow of work through the dispensary, ensuring that all people involved in the process – including patients and staff – are provided with the necessary information to meet patients' medication supply needs as a priority.
- Operating computer systems based in the dispensary and providing administrative and clerical support for dispensary‑related work.
- Assisting in the labelling, dispensing and preparation of prescriptions that have been clinically checked by a pharmacist, ready for final checking, and in the supply of pharmaceutical products.
- Reception work, dispensing prescriptions, ensuring the dispensary is adequately stocked with supplies and performing some housekeeping duties.
- Completion of the QCF Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.
- Preferred: GCSE grade C or equivalent in Mathematics and English language.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy environment and with computers is an advantage; applicants who are currently able to dispense are especially welcome, though training will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;
