Medical Records Assessor

A full‑time, fixed‑term role at Capita supporting British Army recruitment through clinical assessment of candidate medical records. The role is home‑based with occasional site visits.

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2027.

• Review candidates’ medical records and declarations
• Make clear, evidence‑based clinical decisions in line with military standards
• Complete assessments and documentation accurately on internal systems
• Work to daily and weekly targets within a structured team

• Registered healthcare professional with current UK registration (e.g., NMC, HCPC) and no practice restrictions
• Post‑registration clinical experience as a nurse, paramedic or physiotherapist
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet target‑driven targets (approximately 8 cases per day)
• Sound clinical decision‑making and consistent application of professional judgement

• Salary: £35,000 pro rata
• 23 days’ holiday (rising to 27) pro rata, plus option to buy extra leave
