Hywel Dda University Health Board is recruiting a Radiology Assistant to join the imaging team at Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthenshire, Wales. This is a full-time position supporting clinical imaging services and departmental administration. The successful candidate will work across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and administrative functions while contributing to patient care and maintaining efficient service delivery.

The role includes varied shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm, including weekends and bank holidays. Monday and Friday coverage is expected predominantly, although flexibility is essential.

• Assist radiographers in CT, MRI, and Ultrasound clinical areas.
• Support patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging examinations.
• Carry out clerical and administrative tasks within the department.
• Assist with appointment booking and coordination activities.
• Perform cleaning and hygiene procedures to maintain safe clinical environments.
• Monitor and replenish departmental consumables and stock supplies.
