The Role As a Support Worker, you will provide vital support to clients with a range of needs—from mild to challenging learning disabilities, mental health issues, and physical disabilities. You’ll work in and around the Leeds area, helping individuals live more independently while delivering person-centred care and encouragement. Responsibilities Supporting clients with daily living tasks and personal care according to individual needs Encouraging independence and positive choices Assisting with medication where trained Building positive relationships with clients and colleagues Adapting to different care environments across various settings Skills and Experience Minimum of six months' experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, or physical disabilities A full driver’s licence is an advantage but not essential Medications training is useful—if you don’t have this, training will be provided Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not offered) Reliability, flexibility, and a compassionate, proactive approach to care Location and Package Role based in Scarborough, with clients located in and around the Leeds area Contract/agency position with flexible hours to fit your lifestyle If you’re passionate about care and looking for a flexible opportunity to develop your career while making a genuine difference, this Support Worker position is for you.
