Resettlement Project Officer

The post is offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis initially. Subject to continued funding and service requirements, there is potential for the contract to be extended.

We are looking for a Resettlement Project Officer to join the Partnerships Team within the Economy and Planning Department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to refugee and resettlement programmes, including Homes for Ukraine and other initiatives that help people rebuild their lives and become part of local communities.

You will coordinate day-to-day resettlement activities, monitor service delivery, and collaborate with colleagues and partners to improve outcomes for individuals and families. The role involves working closely with teams across the Council and organisations in the health, education, voluntary and community sectors to deliver effective, joined-up support.

This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive and committed to helping people achieve positive outcomes through effective partnership working. You will enjoy engaging with a range of partners, developing strong professional relationships and coordinating activity across different organisations to achieve shared goals. You'll be confident using your initiative, managing competing priorities, identifying opportunities for improvement and working both independently and collaboratively.
