We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Planning and Commissioning Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping, developing and improving services that meet the needs of local communities.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, partners, providers and stakeholders, you will collect, analyse and present information in a way that informs decision-making and supports effective service planning across Wrexham. You will be expected to apply the commissioning cycle to assess need, identify priorities, support service development and review outcomes, helping to ensure services are effective, sustainable and deliver positive outcomes for local people.

You will use insight, engagement and performance information to identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation, ensuring that resources are used effectively and creatively, and that services remain responsive to changing needs and priorities.

We are looking for someone with strong planning, commissioning and analytical skills who is confident in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and willing to engage with people and communities across Wrexham. You will be organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on achieving positive outcomes.
