This is an exciting new role working within the Housing Options Team based in Lambpit Street, Wrexham and working across the Borough. The role works across all tenures i.e. the private rented sector, owner occupiers and all social housing settings.

As a Homeless Prevention Officer, you will provide support to the Housing Options Team. The main function and responsibility of the role is to assist in the prevention and alleviation of homelessness for individuals who present, or are referred to the service, as homeless or threatened with homelessness.

The post holder must have the ability to work in a pressured environment with flexibility and be able work at a fast pace.

The post holder must have effective communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of the client’s needs and extensive knowledge of the Housing Act (Wales) 2014 is essential.
