Personal Assistant to start beginning of September 2026 – DorsetPHB​/060826

I am an older woman living with complex care needs, and I rely on 1:1 support 24 hours a day. I am looking for an additional person to join my small, dedicated team. I need someone who is confident working independently and able to liaise with professionals when required.

I use an electric wheelchair when out in the community, and I have full capacity. I value carers who are calm, reliable, and able to support me in maintaining my independence and daily routine.

Main Duties:

Full personal care

Sub-pubic Catheter Care
- Daily support required (full training provided)

Medication management – safe administration of medication

Mobility support – including safe use of ceiling hoists for transfers

Driving – trips out, appointments, shopping
