Information Outreach Officer

Wrexham Family Information Service (WFIS) is seeking a positive, enthusiastic, empathic, highly organised and flexible person for this role.

The successful candidate will form part of an Outreach team that provides information, advice and support to families through delivering an outreach service in the community and working with families on an individual basis. This may include families with children with disabilities or additional needs, asylum seeker or refugee families, expectant parents as well as parents of older children. The role would involve supporting these families navigate their way to services.

An excellent knowledge of the services that are available across Wrexham and the issues that face families is needed for this role. The successful candidate should have the skills to carry out a “What Matters” conversation with families and identify the key issues for that family and the services that can assist.

An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.
