The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth, Reacta Healthcare are looking to recruit a Microbiology Officer to join the wider QC team, reporting to the QC Microbiology Section Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to support microbiological compliance through environmental monitoring, microbiology raw data review, risk assessments , investigations and liaison with external laboratories on testing and development work .
Key AccountabilitiesIncluding but not limited to:
- Support the environmental monitoring programme, including trending, spreadsheet maintenance and quarterly/annual reports
- Assess production controls and standards, supporting practical improvements where required
- Review microbiology raw data received from contract laboratories
- Complete micro non-conformances and deviations, including OOS, OOE and OOT investigations
- Author and execute protocols on an ad hoc basis to support investigations and process improvements
- Provide microbiological training and support across the business, working with QA, Production and external parties as required
- Degree in Microbiology or equivalent biological science
- A strong background in microbiology
- Pharmaceutical experience preferable
- Experience in environmental monitoring preferable
- Experience in risk assessment and technical writing preferable
