HR Generalist / Talent Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Overview
As an HR Advisor, you will provide professional and customer‑focused HR support to managers and employees, helping to deliver people initiatives and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Responsibilities- Advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and employee relations matters.
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability and absence management processes.
- Managing recruitment and onboarding activities to deliver a positive candidate and employee experience.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and preparing HR documentation.
- Supporting performance management, learning and development and wellbeing initiatives.
- Producing HR reports and people metrics to support decision‑making.
- Contributing to HR projects, employee engagement activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Officer or similar generalist HR position, with a strong understanding of employee relations and UK employment law.
- Experience supporting managers on a broad range of HR matters.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Current CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards one).
- Experience with in a manufacturing or operational environment, exposure to trade unions and knowledge of HR analytics is advantageous.

Working Conditions- Full‑time position.
- Some flexibility may be required to support operational requirements.
