Employee Relations Advisor

Location:

Wrexham

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Duration: 1-2 Month Temporary Assignment

Start Date:

ASAP Pay rate: up to £25.64

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to support a busy HR function on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong ER knowledge and a solid understanding of employment law to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working closely with the HR team, you will provide expert guidance on a range of employee relations matters, ensuring processes are managed fairly, consistently and in line with current legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support on employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters and appeals.
  • Review ongoing cases, assess available information and recommend appropriate next steps.
  • Ensure all employee relations activities comply with current employment legislation and company policies.
  • Support managers through formal HR processes, providing guidance and best practice recommendations.
  • Prepare and review relevant documentation, reports and case records.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional standards when handling sensitive employee matters.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure cases are progressed efficiently and effectively.
About You
  • Previous experience within an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Generalist role.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing or advising on grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Ability to review complex situations and provide practical, legally compliant recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently and hit the ground running in a busy environment.
  • CIPD qualification.
