To ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and on time. Maintain employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, and changes. Calculate statutory payments, deductions, pensions, and benefits. Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers. Ensure compliance with HMRC and payroll regulations. Produce payroll reports and support audits.
Skills & Experience:
Previous payroll administration experience. Good understanding of payroll legislation and statutory payments. Strong numerical and administrative skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems. High attention to detail and confidentiality. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Payroll qualification (e.g., CIPP) desirable.
