We're looking for a proactive and people-focused People Partnering Officer to join our People Team for a period of 9 months. This is a varied role that supports colleagues across the full HR function, helping to deliver a professional and efficient service across the University.
Working closely with colleagues and managers, you'll play a key role in attracting and retaining talent, delivering engaging induction and training programmes, managing and promoting employee benefits, managing the probation process, supporting employee relations activity, and helping to develop HR policies, processes and systems, ensuring compliance and best practices across the function.
About YouYou will be an organised and proactive people professional with experience working in an HR and/or administrative environment, providing excellent customer service and building positive working relationships. You'll have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of work. You will be comfortable working independently, and able to use your initiative while recognising when to seek advice or support.
An awareness of employment law and HR best practice is essential, as is experience of delivering training and/or providing guidance to others.
