Our mission is to make quality health support accessible to all, from young individuals and rural communities to busy professionals and underserved populations worldwide. We provide personalized wellness journeys by connecting users with certified wellness professionals, offering live virtual sessions, gamified challenges, and educational resources.

This is a full-time remote role for a Legal Manager at Armbrella LTD. The Legal Manager will oversee the company’s legal operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Legal Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all business practices align with legal requirements.
This remote role is ideal for someone looking to gain practical experience in legal research, compliance, and documentation within a mission-driven digital health and wellness start-up.
You will assist with legal research, compliance documentation, intellectual property checks, and ensuring our content, marketing, and platform operations comply with relevant UK laws and regulations, particularly in the health and wellness tech sector. You will also support copyright and music licensing checks to ensure all audio used on the platform adheres to UK and international copyright laws.
Responsibilities- Conduct legal research on UK-specific laws relevant to digital health and wellness technology.
- Support GDPR compliance, including reviewing policies, data handling practices, and documentation.
- Assist in reviewing and drafting contracts, agreements, and internal legal documents.
- Review music licensing and copyright requirements for all audio and video content used on the platform, including checking for sync rights, royalty-free usage, commercial permissions, and any restrictions on music integration in digital content.
- Apply knowledge of copyright law as it relates to audio and digital media.
- Maintain organised legal files, compliance trackers, and version-controlled documents.
- Assist with due diligence, risk assessments, and internal audits.
- Support monitoring of regulatory updates affecting health and wellness platforms.
- Provide general administrative support for legal and compliance projects.
- Strong understanding or academic background in UK law (e.g., LLB, GDL, or similar)
- Interest or knowledge in health and wellness technology, digital platforms, or tech-sector regulations
- Familiarity with UK GDPR, data protection principles, and digital privacy best practices
- Understanding of copyright, licensing, and intellectual property rules for digital content
- Excellent organisation, research ability, and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information securely
- Prior legal, compliance, or administrative experience is a plus
- A proactive, self-driven mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
