Underwriter, Insurance

An Underwriter is required to join a dynamic Commercial team, playing a key role in supporting business development and client retention through effective underwriting decisions.

The role involves working closely with brokers to negotiate and secure new and renewal business, while applying sound risk assessment and relationship management practices. Responsibilities include handling underwriting cases within agreed limits, referring complex matters as needed, and supporting the growth and maintenance of a client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have prior underwriting or insurance industry experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer service mindset.

CII qualifications and experience working with a variety of insurance products are desirable.
