Looking for your next step in insurance? An established and highly respected independent insurance broker is looking to appoint an SME Account Handler to join its growing London team. This opportunity would suit someone who has gained some experience within commercial insurance and is now looking for a business that will invest in their development, provide genuine progression opportunities and allow them to build a long-term career.

Initially, you'll be responsible for supporting Account Executives and managing a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring they receive a high level of service whilst developing your technical knowledge and client management skills. This isn't a role where you'll remain on small business accounts indefinitely. The intention is to provide ongoing training, exposure and responsibility, enabling you to progress onto larger and more complex commercial risks over time.

The Role Managing and servicing a portfolio of SME commercial clients Supporting Account Executives with renewals, mid-term adjustments and client servicing Preparing market presentations and obtaining quotations from insurers Building strong relationships with clients and insurer partners Handling day-to-day enquiries and providing professional advice Assisting with larger commercial accounts as your experience develops About You Experience working within a commercial insurance broking environment Previous Account Handler or Account Executive support experience Good knowledge of SME commercial insurance risks Strong communication and relationship-building skills Organised, proactive and keen to develop your career Able to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team environment Why Consider This Opportunity?
