We are seeking a skilled and commercially minded Real Estate lawyer to join our Occupiers, Telecoms and Infrastructure team.
You will support the wider Real Estate team acting for major telecoms operators, infrastructure providers and corporate occupier clients, working across a broad and varied caseload that reflects the evolving needs of corporate occupiers and telecoms clients.
This position will play a crucial role in the development and growth of key client relationships and will be responsible for the quality of service across the team.
We are looking for someone to be based in any of our regional offices including Belfast, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle or Birmingham and we can offer a flexible, hybrid working approach.
Responsibilities- Advise on a broad range of telecoms and infrastructure‑related real estate matters.
- Support national clients with site portfolios and ongoing asset management.
- Draft and negotiate leases, licences, code agreements and related documentation.
- Support the Real Estate team in driving continuous growth and improvement across the team.
- Work closely with clients to provide practical, clear, and robust legal advice, ensuring their commercial objectives are met.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
- Maintain and manage strong relationships with key clients whilst striving to achieve further growth through new and existing business.
Essential
- Qualified solicitor with experience gained within a leading real estate team.
- Strong understanding of the Electronic Communications Code, or a clear desire to further develop expertise in this area.
- Experience managing your own caseload of telecoms and/or landlord and tenant matters.
- Confident and personable, with excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise work effectively and maximise efficiency in working practices.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with close attention to detail.
- Capable of managing complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders.
