Supply Chain Administrator
£27,500k - £29k per annum
Monday - Friday / General Office Hours
Wrexham
Our client based in the Wrexham area is currently looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Department in the general day-to-day and monthly operations, whilst also supporting continuous improvement both individually and departmentally. Experience is not essential for this role, and the suitable individual must be enthusiastic, energetic, and willing to learn a complex business model from the bottom up.
They must be able to understand and appreciate the varied positions of stakeholders within the Global Supply Chain and have the ability to be self‑motivated to develop the role through exploring new ideas and creative solutions in a fluid environment.
- General daily business administration and customer service related to Supply Chain function.
- Working in a timely and accurate manner to ensure smooth running of the department in meeting daily and monthly targets, whilst working within the Supply Chain Management department of a leading Global Business Equipment Manufacturer, assisting with operational projects and tasks as required.
- Sales Order Management, including registration and liaising with global customers.
- Demand Planning/Forecast Management within SAP Systems.
- Logistics Support function including Customs Declarations.
- Learning & Understanding of all elements of the Supply Chain function (Planning/Logistics/Purchasing).
- Project Work & Continuous Improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with people of all levels are essential for this role.
- Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines, as part of a team as well as on one’s own initiative.
- Good IT skills, proficient with MS Office particularly Excel with the ability to analyse and interrogate data.
- Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle high volume of data.
- Process driven individual to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude towards learning and improvement.
- Degree level qualification in business or economics would be an advantage for this role.
- Knowledge of, or a keen interest to develop a career in Supply Chain & Logistics.
- Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.
