Full-Time | Office-Based £32,000 to £35,000 Are you an organised Administrator with experience in shipping, imports, exports, customs documentation, and international logistics? We are recruiting for a Shipping Administrator to join a busy and growing business in the North London area. This is a varied role that requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to coordinate shipments across multiple countries while ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.

Monday to Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities Managing import and export shipments from order through to delivery. Preparing and checking customs and shipping documentation. Ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and country-specific import/export requirements. Liaising with freight forwarders, logistics providers, suppliers, and customers. Obtaining quotations and pricing from suppliers. Processing orders and monitoring shipment progress. Tracking deliveries and resolving any shipping or customs issues. Preparing invoices and maintaining accurate records.

Checking deliveries against orders and investigating discrepancies. Responding to internal and external enquiries via email. Supporting stock management and ensuring products are delivered on time. Providing general administrative support to the wider team. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience within shipping, logistics, imports/exports, freight forwarding, or international trade administration. Strong knowledge of customs processes and documentation. Understanding of country-specific import and export regulations. Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and logistics partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
