G04 - £14,801 - £15,036 per annum

The Rofft School, Marford is looking to appoint a dependable and proactive Caretaker to become part of our dedicated team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the security, safety, and smooth day-to-day running of the school premises.

• Carrying out minor maintenance and repairs.
• Monitoring and maintaining operational systems.
• Completing routine safety inspections.
• Keeping accurate maintenance records.
• Opening and securing the site each day as the main key holder.
• Supervising the cleaning team to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Safely and efficiently disposing of waste and recycling.
• Maintaining the school grounds to keep them tidy, safe, and weed/litter free.
• Offering flexibility to attend outside normal working hours for alarm activations or emergencies.
• Possibility of additional hours during school holidays for cleaning and maintenance projects.

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
