Casual Cleaner

About the role

We are looking for a Casual Cleaner to keep our buildings clean, safe and welcoming across Carmarthenshire. The role mainly involves covering cleaning shifts in schools between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., so it is ideal if you are available in the afternoon. You will support the service by covering staff absences, annual leave and vacancies across different sites and carry out general cleaning duties, with all equipment, products and full training provided.

Shifts are offered through an app, so you can pick up work when it suits you. This is a casual role, meaning hours are not guaranteed every day; however, regular shifts are available across the county. Cleaners will work in areas including Llanelli, Carmarthen, Newcastle Emlyn, Llandovery, Llandeilo and nearby locations.

• Reliable, punctual and take pride in your work
• References and a DBS are required; an Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service check will be requested.
• Basic knowledge of Welsh (Welsh language level – verbal, Level 1). Reasonable support can be provided to reach this level.
