Rooted Recruitment Limited is supporting the recruitment of a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to work within a busy workplace environment. This part-time opportunity involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across factory areas, communal spaces, welfare facilities and training rooms.

Job Description
 
* Clean and maintain communal areas, restrooms, welfare facilities and training rooms to consistently high standards.
 
* Complete routine and deep-cleaning activities, including operating equipment such as steam cleaners and floor buffers.
 
* Empty bins, support waste segregation and recycling, and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as required.
 
* Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices while helping maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Compensation
 
* Pay: £13.07 per hour.
 
* Working pattern:
Part-time, two days per week – Thursday and Friday.

* Hours:

Flexible start time, finishing at 18:15 on Thursday and 17:15 on Friday.
Skills & Experience
 
* Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable, alongside a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
 
* Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment and appropriate safe-working practices.
 
* Knowledge of COSHH, PPE, manual handling requirements and slip/trip prevention.
 
* Reliable and organised, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
