About the opportunity:

As our Senior Category Manager, you'll drive category and sourcing strategies, manage suppliers, and ensure cost-effective procurement.

Key responsibilities:

Supplier Management:
Select and negotiate with top suppliers, optimize performance.
Cost Control:
Oversee budgets, implement savings strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure high standards and resolve issues.
Strategic Sourcing:
Develop plans to align with business goals and market trends.
Contract Management:
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts.
Compliance:
Ensure ethical practices and risk management.

Required experience:

7+ years in procurement or category management.
Procurement or category management background in construction, manufacturing, or engineering
Experience in transport or subcontractor procurement a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel.
Must hold a valid UK Driving licence
