Permanent, Full-time Salary: £43,000 £ 45,000 Company Car / Car Allowance
The Role We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the safe, compliant and commercially effective delivery of projects within a secure, high-profile environment. You will take full ownership of projects from initiation through to completion, managing risk, cost, programme and quality while ensuring full compliance with statutory, regulatory, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements. Working closely with client representatives, site teams and supply chain partners, you will define project scope, set priorities and agree delivery programmes.
You will ensure that suitably qualified personnel are deployed and that robust safe systems of work are always in place.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing end-to-end project delivery Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Maintaining accurate project documentation and records Monitoring progress against programme, budget and quality standards Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and policies Managing stakeholder relationships and expectations Supporting end users and resolving issues efficiently Driving value for money and sound commercial decision-making You will also contribute to wider organisational objectives, including sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives.
About You You will have proven experience managing projects within a construction, engineering or facilities management environment , with a strong track record of delivering against KPIs, controlling costs and managing stakeholders. You will be confident overseeing site operations in live environments, planning and coordinating work activities, and enforcing safe systems of work. Essential: HNC/HND (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering or building discipline SMSTS or equivalent management-level Health & Safety qualification Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and CAFM systems) Excellent communication and organisational skills Desirable:
Membership of a professional body (e.g. APM, RICS, CIOB) Experience working in defence or highly regulated environments Whats on Offer 25 days annual leave 6% matched pension contribution Company car or car allowance Private medical cover (single) Life assurance (2x annual salary)
