• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Oversee preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial submissions
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of accountants, driving performance and engagement
• Monitor team KPIs and ensure delivery against service levels and reporting deadlines
• Maintain a robust internal control environment and support audit and compliance activities
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality

• Qualified (or qualified by experience) accountant with strong general accounting knowledge
• Strong people management experience
• A natural leader with the ability to motivate and mentor the team where necessary
• Experience using accounting systems such as SAP and Oracle
• Experience of leveraging automation in a Finance function, or desire to do so
• Forward thinking and energised by change
