Wrexham University is seeking an experienced operations professional to undertake the role of Simulation Operations Manager. This new position will provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the University’s simulated learning environments, ensuring their effective operation in support of high-quality student learning. The postholder will lead the implementation, development, and continuous improvement of operational systems and processes, maintaining the smooth and efficient running of specialist facilities that underpin high-quality simulated learning experiences.

This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational ability, and the confidence to build, maintain, and influence key relationships both internally and externally. You will provide effective team leadership and line management, oversee the operational management of facilities, including health and safety compliance, and responsibility for inventory and asset management.

Success in this role will also require proven capability in project management, systems and process optimisation, continuous improvement, and strong IT proficiency. Knowledge of simulated education and learning environments is desirable.

Candidates should be educated to undergraduate degree level and/or have demonstrable experience in a relevant role. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable, however, not essential.
