About the RoleAs Care Home Manager
, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, occupancy, and staff performance.
Working closely with your senior leadership team, you’ll create a positive culture where residents receive exceptional care, families feel supported, and employees are motivated to deliver their very best.
This role would suit an experienced manager who enjoys leading from the front, building strong relationships and delivering excellent outcomes for residents living with dementia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective leadership across all areas of the care home.
- Ensure exceptional, person-centred dementia care is delivered at all times.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain full compliance with regulatory standards and best practice.
- Monitor care quality, audits, governance and continuous improvement.
- Manage occupancy, budgets and overall home performance.
- Support recruitment, retention, supervision and staff development.
- Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
- Promote a positive, welcoming and caring environment for residents and staff.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Care Home Manager, Home Manager, or Registered Manager within a residential care home.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of dementia care.
- A successful history of managing care home operations and leading large teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
- Experience driving quality improvements and achieving positive inspection outcomes.
- Good commercial awareness, including occupancy and budget management.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and supporting residents to live fulfilling lives.
- Previous management experience within a residential care home.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care and person-centred care planning.
- Strong understanding of care regulations and quality standards.
- Experience managing staff performance, recruitment and training.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Salary up to £50,000 per annum.
