FLT Operative

Great opportunity to work as a FLT Operative for our client, a professional yet friendly company who specialises in making and developing chilled meals for the top UK supermarkets, making over 3.7million chilled meals every week.

Staffline is recruiting FLT Operatives in Wrexham.

• £12.43 per hour rising to £13.74 per hour for days
• £14.81 per hour for nights

• 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm
• 4 on 4 off, 6pm to 6am

The responsibilities of a FLT Operative, your duties will include:

• Supplying factory with ingredients and packaging, Reach truck and Counterbalance FLT's
• Using handheld scanners or RF guns
• Reading labels and codes accurately
• Spotting discrepancies (wrong item, damaged packaging)
• Counting quantities correctly
• Working with units, boxes, cases, pallets
• Understanding pick lists, handheld scanner prompts
• Following standard operating procedures
• Working at a good pace without sacrificing accuracy.
• Physically fit as bending, lifting, and reaching is required
• Using correct lifting techniques.
• Following warehouse safety rules.

• Able to work in cold stores, minus 5 degrees.

• Reach / Counterbalance licence is required to undertake all tasks; candidates with a current licence are preferred, but training can be provided.

• Earn £12.43 - £14.81 per hour
