Position: Textile Material Cutter (CAD Machine Operator)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Wrexham for a Textile Material Cutter (CNC Machine Operator). The primary responsibilities include operating CNC cutting machines to cut textiles to precise specifications, setting up and maintaining cutting equipment, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of cuts. The candidate will interpret technical drawings and manufacturing instructions, perform routine machine inspections, and collaborate with design and production teams to meet manufacturing deadlines efficiently.

They will also support all aspects of the cutting department in preparing cut work and trims for the line.

Qualifications
  • Experience with CAD cutting machines and knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing instructions accurately.
  • Familiarity with textile materials and a strong understanding of cutting processes.
  • Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to quality in all tasks.
  • Organizational skills and an ability to meet production deadlines efficiently.
  • Team collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
