Recycling Operative – Wrexham Industrial Estate

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Working hours:

8am–4pm, Monday to Friday, 30 minute paid break

• Feed the shredding plant with clean, used jerry cans to process them back into granules for reuse in manufacturing.
• Load the industrial washing machinery with used jerry cans to prepare them for further processing.
• Operate manufacturing cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Remove labels and separate caps from used jerry cans as part of the recycling workflow.
• Carry out regular quality checks to ensure materials meet production standards.
• Inspect cages and large "skin" containers to maintain safe and compliant storage.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately to support traceability and production records.

• Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Reliable team player with good communication skills.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
• Punctual, proactive and able to follow instructions accurately.
